April Legere is a mother, veteran and a corporate professional who is known for being passionate about culture and diversity; a perspective that she has instilled in her daughter and shares with her friends, family and colleagues.

She would like to take it a step further and share her passion in her community; April has filed to run for Rogers City Council in Ward 3, Seat 2.  April has been a resident of Rogers for nearly eight years, watching her daughter thrive as well as bearing witness to the city’s amazing work focusing on enhanced infrastructure and economic growth to support the needs of the community today and preparing for the future.

In addition to expansion and economic growth, April would like to see her community lean in on growing a stronger sense of home for all; being an inclusive, safe and welcoming city with a focus on culture and diversity.  She feels that by highlighting those two things, the growth will naturally continue as all will feel welcome in Rogers.

With the opportunity to be the first elected woman of color with leadership as a military veteran as well as in the corporate environment, April has a unique point of view to bring to the table adding diversity of thought in our community’s decision-making process.  “These are exciting times for our community, and I’m excited to be a part of the future of Rogers”, she says.

We hope you’ll join us in supporting and voting April for Rogers City Council on November 3rd, 2020.
