Maine deserves better. We need bold, progressive leadership. We need a leader with the guts to fight for the working class, the integrity to stand with the middle class, and the tenacity to take on corporate power. We need Troy Jackson to run for Governor in 2018. Troy gets it. He's a Democrat with a backbone.

But here's the thing: Troy isn't convinced that he should run. Yet. He knows that it'll take a huge amount of organizational power and money to get the job done. He's right.

If Democrats want bold leadership and an inclusive message that fights for all Mainers, we need to organize and run the largest grassroots campaign in Maine's history. That's why we're starting early. We've got a lot of ground to cover. Show Troy that you're committed by donating today. And, please, share this with your friends as well.

And, last but not least, he's a real person who listens with an aim to understand rather than just respond. My first pledge of $27 is just the first of many to come if he decides to run for governor. Thank you for all of the hard work you are currently doing as a state senator, Troy!”

Whether you are a Democrat, an Independent or a Republican, a worker, small business owner, retired or a student; he knows what Maine people should expect from their elected leaders and how Maine people should contribute to their communities. When he speaks you know that what he says comes from his heart and from his own experiences as a Maine resident, a small business owner, a husband, a father, and a community leader. • Carla Poindexter White endorsed

“With Troy's broad and diverse support all over the state, if he ran, I really think he would win win. If he announces I will immediately register as a Democrat from unaffiliated. I need someone and a vision to vote FOR. If we managed to get a true progressive governor in office at a time when Repubicans are drooling over New England in this next election, that would be massive. It would send the message of how we take our country back.”
