Aryeh Alex has fought his entire career for working people to have great paying jobs and live in a safe, clean place. He has done it all over the country and now is ready to apply that know-how in our backyard.

Aryeh serves as the political director at the Ohio Environmental Council, where he leads advocacy programs that help protect and enhance the environment and the health of all Ohio communities. Aryeh also serves as the Board President for the Friends of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, creating new access for people to explore natural areas across the region.

Previously, he worked for the Service Employee International Union where he developed nationwide outreach programs to foster community building, promote social justice, and ensure individuals have good paying jobs with benefits.

Aryeh resides in Franklin Township with his wife, Grace, where he enjoys hiking and volunteering as a naturalist.

Franklin Township has great potential with its central location. Yet our community lacks the leadership needed to tap into opportunities for new businesses. From developing the area around the casino to recruiting new small businesses and restaurants, we must be a welcoming community that creates a friendly business environment and offers good-paying jobs.

When you pick up the phone to report a crime or medical emergency, our residents need to know that our public servants are reporting for duty and have the equipment needed to do the job. As the opioid epidemic continues to plague our streets, we need the best medical response team waiting to save lives and a strong police presence to curb the use of illegal drugs.

As state cuts continue to devastate the Franklin Township budget and the City of Columbus annexes key areas of our community for their economic gain, we need our Township Trustees who will be a strong voice for our neighborhoods and ght to protect our community. We must build better relationships with Franklin County and the State of Ohio, so Franklin Township can grow and receive the support and respect our residents deserve.

First Pass Complete

It is with much excitement to announce that our campaign has completed a first pass of door knocking of Franklin Township!

We have had some great conversations about the issues that matter most in our community. Across Franklin Township, voters are overwhelmingly pledging their support to our agenda of:

  • fighting the opioid epidemic that plagues our community;
  • ensuring that our fire and police officers have the tools to make our community safe;
  • and investing in our business districts to make our community a vibrant economic area.

We are excited to continue knocking on doors as we march towards Election Day.
