UPDATE: Unfortunately, the Supreme Court didn't bring closure on the merits of extreme partisan gerrymandering. But we can still win this war to terminate gerrymandering.

This is a call to action -- we've identified four state-based initiatives to end gerrymandering step by step. Learn more here. Common Cause and others are continuing the battle in the courts with cases that address the justices’ concerns, so your continued support of this campaign is also incredibly appreciated.

***

The Supreme Court has heard cases of Democratic gerrymandering in Maryland and of Republican gerrymandering in Wisconsin, and both instances are completely unacceptable.

I'm determined to terminate gerrymandering and its poisonous impact on our democracy. That's why I've partnered with Common Cause, a nonprofit focused on promoting open, honest and accountable government.

While we anxiously await court decisions, we must keep up the momentum at the state and local level to end this scourge on our democracy. We're so close to our $150,000 goal, which won't just help with these Supreme Court cases, but the many fights still to come.

Please chip in whatever you can afford today – we are closer than we've ever been to defeating gerrymandering, but we must keep up the pressure.

Even $3 will send a powerful message that the citizens of America won't stand idly by as politicians protect their jobs instead of earn them. And, because we must win these cases, I'll personally match every single donation that comes in.

Thank you for everything,

Arnold Schwarzenegger

The Supreme Court has ruled. Now it's up to us to terminate gerrymandering!

Friends,

I have an update on our fight to terminate gerrymandering.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court didn't bring closure on the merits of extreme partisan gerrymandering. That means it's up to us to win this war. This is a call to action.

We hope to be back in front of the court as soon as we can with a case that addresses the justices’ concerns. But we can’t just stand by and wait. We’ve identified four state-based initiatives to terminate gerrymandering step by step.

Please contribute whatever you can afford to these four critical state campaigns.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

We hit a major milestone over the long weekend, crossing the $100,000 line. That means I'm on the hook for over six figures. I can't thank all of you enough.

As I've been helping to recruit Republicans to join the amicus briefs in support of our side in Gill vs. Whitford, I've been reminding them of your great support. I think you'll all be very happy with some of the great names that come out on the right side of this issue when we file the briefs today, but for now I want to thank all of you for being a part of this. We can truly change our country for the better.

Now, I'd like to challenge you. I'm really excited that I have to cut a check for over 100k. Let's make it more. Share with your friends, keep fighting. Do it now.

Thank you!

Friends --

I have been traveling across the globe, but I had to take a moment to write you a quick note of thanks for joining me in the effort to end partisan gerrymandering.

Now that the Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case, our work begins in earnest. You are on the front lines of this battle, and I’m grateful to have you with me in this fight.

I can think of no better way to celebrate our patriotism after July 4th than boldly proclaiming that as American citizens, we stand united against gerrymandering and the broken political system it has created.

We stand against politicians choosing themselves and their jobs over the people.

We stand for American citizens taking political power into their own hands.

You’ve already done your part by donating -- now make sure that your friends know we have the chance to make gerrymandering unconstitutional.

Share your support on Facebook.

Together, we’re going to make Washington work for regular people again.

I hope you had a fantastic fourth,
Arnold
