Transparency to Run will ask the citizens of the United States to require candidates to disclose details about their potential conflicts of interest through a coordinated ballot campaign.

Citizens will vote to require their candidates for statewide or federal office to provide them at least five years of federal tax returns and schedules (with appropriate redaction) before the candidate can be listed on the ballot in that state.

The public has a right to know. And they have the power, through their states, to force candidates to provide the information they need to make an informed choice.

“There's no other way to find out if a candidate is worthy of being on the ballot. Tax returns will show important information the public should know before putting someone on a ballot.”

  • Dustin Robinson endorsed

“I support Transparency to Run because it's time for real, common sense transparency from those who want to be our elected officials.”
