In May of 2016, a group of Republicans gathered at the St. Regis Hotel in D.C. and decided that principles were more important than party in the 2016 presidential election.  From a shared vision, and a few glasses of wine, Republican Women for Hillary was born.

Between addressing the Democratic National Convention to having fun with mean tweets on Samantha Bee, working in battleground states and hosting networking events, we fought hard until November when America finally made its decision.

Ultimately, things didn’t turn out as we had hoped, but we realized that there was a need, more than ever, for our brand of modern, forward-thinking Republicanism.

Republican women must lead the way towards creating constructive policies instead of pushing political agendas. Enter Republican Women for Progress (RWFP).

RWFP is a grassroots policy organization providing Republican women with a voice through thought leadership in the media, connecting women on the state and national level, and serving as a clearinghouse for educational and training opportunities to engage women in American politics.

In 2018, we plan to conduct a number of policy-specific training seminars directed at women who are considering a run for office – we already had our first event on climate and environmental policy in early February. Most importantly, RWFP is supporting a number of Republican women candidates through policy and advocacy work – Republican women who want to bring positive changes and thoughtful leadership to the GOP.

Recently, we’ve been in the news calling for bipartisanship at the Women’s March in Roanoke, talking about the importance of recruiting more moderate GOP women to run for office, and speaking out about the Administration’s failure to address domestic abuse.

We need your help, Republican women need your help, America needs your help. Thank you in advance for your support!

“I support Republican Women for Progress because the Republican party is not self-sustaining the way it currently operates and envisions the future of our great nation. Progressive conservative women are necessary for the New Republic Party to form around a broader platform.”
