I am running to represent House District 33 in the Oregon legislature.

I am a civil rights attorney and small business owner.  I was born and raised in Oregon and have spent decades engaged in community service supporting issues such as reproductive choice, environmental protection, and worker rights.

I am running because more diverse perspectives are needed in the legislature. There are very few voices in the legislature that can represent the experience of working families.

The legislature needs to address the barriers that a majority of people face in trying to live and work in Oregon.  The story in Oregon right now is of rising costs, without corresponding gains in quality.  Childcare is unaffordable, housing is unaffordable, education is unaffordable, elder care is unaffordable.  Oregonians work hard and they deserve legislators who make life better for them.  This is why I am running.
