Recent actions in Washington cry out for a response on behalf of the people of the 6th District. Our healthcare is in jeopardy, public education is not being supported, and questions about integrity in government are on the minds of many Hoosiers. Yet our current representative refused to talk with constituents or hold town halls.

He has decided for run for yet another office and ignored the needs of the 6th District.  For too long those in power have taken the people of this district for granted. It is time to say that Enough is enough.

Lane Siekman has always been a strong advocate for those who need a voice in our society. His straightforward manner mixes progressive action with Hoosier common sense values. Lane is a fifth generation resident of tiny Ohio County, Indiana and his lifelong ties to Indiana and the District that give him insight into the challenges facing district residents, workers, and businesses. He will stand up for ordinary working people, not the lobbyists and power brokers of Washington D.C.

Lane would like to hear your thoughts and questions. Please take the time to pledge your support and leave a endorsement! It's time to have some real town halls with the citizens of the 6th district.

Thanks

Lane

Cooler weather but still going strong...

It's fall in Indiana (and elsewhere) but the race for U.S. Congress is starting to warm up. Mike Pence's brother has jumped into the race on the Republican side and is drawing a lot of attention. We need to send the message that there are no family dynasties in American politics and flip this seat in 2018.

I need your help to make it happen.

All my best.

Let's light this candle!

Dear Friends:

It's official.  I am running for Congress in 2018. I have spent the past several months talking to voters, community leaders, party officials, and the voters of the 6th District and it's time for a change.  I don't have all the answers but I am willing to listen and work for the residents of this district. I believe that we can do better for America.

I have spent my life working with people and businesses in rural small town Indiana. Its those same small town values which I hope to take to Washington as your Congressman. It will be an uphill battle but with your support and God's grace, it can be done.

Time for a decision

I have been traveling and meeting with Hoosiers all over the 6th District of Indiana. We have have had the chance to discuss issues that are important to them but more importantly, I have had the time to listen to their voices.  They are scared and they are confused by the actions of this president and congress. They want security both abroad and at home. They want the peace of mind to know that they will not be devastated by a medical catastrophe, safe quality public schools, economic security and the ability to preserve their personal freedom and way of life. Maybe most of all they want a representative works for them. I have been listening. I will make an important decision very soon about my role in 2018. Please tell your friends and neighbors that it is time to make a decision of their own. Ask them to consider following and supporting our efforts to make a difference in 2018. I thank you for your kind words and support. #CHANGE2018
