Hey, Philly: 2019 is a year for change—and you have the opportunity to be a part of it.
Philly Set Go, a bipartisan political action committee that mobilizes millennials to get involved in local and state politics—from voting to running for office—is raising $20,000 to support get-out-the-vote efforts.
In 2019, major municipal seats are up for grabs, including the Mayor, City Council, City Commissioner, Judges, and more.
The time to help shape Philly’s future is now. So, why us?
Millennials are the largest demographic in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, yet vote at a rate of 20% or less in non-presidential elections, when most of our elected officials are selected. But 2018 proved that when we raise our voices and take action, we have what it takes to influence elections. Let’s keep that momentum going.
With $20,000, we will:
- Amplify our get-out-the-vote campaign
- Advocate on behalf of millennials in City Hall and Harrisburg for our agenda.
- Support millennial candidates who value bipartisan, ethical and transparent government, and focus on real solutions around education, job growth, income inequity, student-loan debt, and election reform.
Donate today to support our message and get-out-the-vote efforts to maximize millennial participation in 2019.
The time for #betterpolitics is now. Will you join us?
