I am a Progressive Democrat and Texan running in the March 6th Democratic Primary.

Growing up in the 90s in Houston's most diverse district Alief (now the International District) I learned that not only are there many Biracial Texans like myself, but there were many other family structures. In 2010 I joined the plumbers union in Houston, and continued for several years in skilled trades. Currently, I live in the Pearland area with my partner while completing a program for network engineering and cyber security.

Why am I running for Texas House?

You have seen that we need strong leadership to help improve every Texan's life and improve our State, and we need someone who is invested in the next 30-50 years, and not just looking for an easy job holding up the status quo.

My core moral values are built around the following issues: democracy and voting rights; poverty and economic justice; workers’ rights; education; healthcare; environmental justice; immigrant rights and challenging xenophobia; religious rights; criminal justice; LGBTQ rights; and war-mongering and military over spending.

We are all Texans be it by birth, relocation, or temporarily and that is regardless of your sex, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, familial status, marital status, military status, religion, disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, economic status, level of education, language spoken, or career.

Let's acknowledge the work that needs to be done and work to repair this great state of Texas together.

What are you biggest and smallest regrets in 2017?

It's 2018 and many of us want to put 2017 far behind us. Moving forward is a must but we also should analyze the things we would do differently or wish we did in the first place last year.

This could be as small as not remembering a dead line or missing an opportunity that you may never see again.

We all need to learn from the feelings of regret. Life can't be controlled, but we can learn from our actions of success and failure.

In 2018 I want to grow with you. I want to learn from the failures during the 2017 session. I want to wear our scars like badges of honor.

This 2018 election is the most important one for the next 10 years of voter redistricting. If we do not have a progressive majority we do not have a fair voting state as the 2019 session redraws the voting districts for the following 10 years.

What can you do?

Donate to my campaign. Register friends and family to vote. Go out and vote March 6th.

Let us all ensure that when 2019 rolls around we have no regrets from 2018. Texas, get ready to flip blue.

New Year Around the Corner

Take them time to reflect on 2017 today, and remember that the new year does not equal a brand new start. Instead an opportunity to grow from the garden beds of the past.

It has been a very trying and unsettling year for many, but for those of us that are still here.. There is a lot of work that needs to be done.

Let us dust off our work boots and get ready to run across the finish line in March and then again in November. We can do this because Texas needs us too. Our children need us too.

Thank you 2017 for lighting a fire in the hearts of many that needed it.

Donate to help keep our firing going, because we need you to build a Stronger Texas Together.

Our First Sunday!

May God bless your Sunday and time spent with family, in your place of worship, relaxing at home, working, or however else you are spending it.

I would like today to speak about the Moral issue that is repairing our Texas Education System.

Lets look at Ecclesiastes 7 verse 12 and 19

12 For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it.

19 Wisdom gives strength to the wise man more than ten rulers who are in a city.

Our education system is an important structure that needs to be repaired from the private interests of those exploiting our childrens education for financial gain.

As reported by the Texas Tribune HERE Rob Eissler made it his job to lobby Texas' education system into a deep spiral of privatized industry that have monopolized our states education system.

The purpose of our Texas Public Education systems is NOT to generate revenue for PEARSON or any corporation. Our students are not cattle. Our schools are not a market place.

When we look at not only the effects of privatized education materials, but the affect it is having on our students, you are met with a rude awakening.

By standardized testing being the parameters of which a school district and its teachers are measured for FUNDING AND PAY. With private companies creating the test that GET MORE MONEY from schools and students struggling, its no wonder Texas has dropped so low in the nation!!

Lets face the fact that taking care of our children, the education structure around the state, and removing privatization from creating the curriculum is a morality problem that must be addressed.

You do not need to attend a special Sunday school lesson to learn that, but I have provided a little one for everyone today.

Please help fund my campaign so we can Repair and Prepare a Stronger Texas Together.

We Have Filed!

Last night at the Pearland Democrats Club Holiday Party, we were able to file and are officially on the ballot!

The primary is an important race, we have an opponent. I am confident that when we are going to win the primary and begin our fight for House District 29 in November.

Help us raise $250 by Sunday so we can spend this holiday season organizing and preparing for outreach to win this race!

It's Day 3 of Our Fundraiser!

We have made our first goal and have taken a great step towards our new $1,200 goal!

Most of us are waking up to a fresh snow fall caused by the wild fires in California. This dry hot air has traveled to the southern states and Alaska via jet stream.

Let us carry this conversation back to the importance of the Paris Agreement. The fact is we need leaders who are able to acknowledge the facts before we can even begin to repair and prepare this State. As Texas goes so goes the nation!

Building a Stronger Texas Together will help build a Stronger Nation too.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to this campaign and believes we can build a Stronger Texas Together!

Now that this goal is met, I will be filing to be placed on the ballot officially this Friday at the Pearland Democrats Club Holiday Party!

It is time to increase our goal and keep this momentum going into the next phase of this fundraiser!

This grassroots campaign is beginning to look for volunteers to help organize, mobilize, and stigmatize a win for the voters in House District 29!

Less than 48 Hours

In less than 48 hours we have almost hit our goal!

We are at over $700! Thank you!

Once this goal is met I will be able to reach out to the Brazoria County Chair and File to be on the March Primary Ballot as the Democratic Candidate for HD29!

I am proud to have been showed so much support, and I look forward to what the coming months will have in store.

Please take the time to endorse me on my CrowdPAC, and stay tuned for when we get the website up.

In order to repair Texas we must first analyze and acknowledge the damage it has taken in the past 22 years. This house is damaged and we can not just roll a coat of paint on and call it a day.

Together we can isolate, analyze, acknowledge/accept, plan, repair and prepare!

  • Isolate areas heavily damaged by Corporate Politicians and bills that attack citizens of Texas.
  • Analyze the damage, and what areas are most affected by policies not vested in the public interest. (healthcare, education, workers rights, environmental regulation, immigrants rights, and more. )
  • Acknowledge and Accept that these problems areas need to be repaired.
  • Plan, create a plan of action to repair these problems.
  • Repair, enact the plan and complete.
  • Prepare. After this process is completed on key issues we can beginning preparing for Texas' Future.

Once we get this plan in action, we can be a model to lead others. As Texas goes, so goes the nation!

Lets pull ourselves up to get a Stronger Texas Together!

First 24

We have done well in our first 24 hours, but we have a close deadline to get on that ballot!

Please continue to donate, endorse, and share!

December 4, 2017

We can be a stronger Texas together.

I am running for Texas House Representative of District 29, Ed Thompsons seat. ( including the cities of Pearland, Manvel, Alvin, and Iowa Colony in Brazoria County) I have until Dec 11th to file, and I am going to need your help!

Please donate to help flip Texas House District 29.

This is real, Ed Thompson is a insurance Texas crony who is out of touch with where Texas is going in the next 30-50 years. Voting record: https://votesmart.org/candida…/key-votes/131451/ed-thompson…

From hurting Texas women and children, foster children, immigrant laws that protect police and families, opposing free breakfast for school children, opposing workers rights and right to privacy, voting against LGBTQ Texans, voting against the states right to use state funds to enforce firearm regulations and much more that does not keep Texas' future and what that future is going to look like in consideration.

I want to help prepare and repair Texas for our future.

We are Texas strong, but we can be a stronger Texas together.
