One Vote At A Time is a team of female filmmakers fighting to elect progressive candidates to office. This past fall, we helped turn Virginia blue; we raised over $36K and filmed ads for 19 candidates for the Virginia House of Delegates (16 of them were in partnership with Why Virginia Matters, NetworkNoVa, The People).
10 of the candidates we supported won! And a few more are in recounts.
Now, we're turning our attention to a race a little closer to home: California's 48th Congressional district.
Rep Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48) doesn't represent the interests or values of Californians. His district voted for Hillary Clinton, but Rohrabacher votes with Trump 92.5% of the time. He's the "Kremlin's favorite Congressman" (apparently he even has a Kremlin code name) and he's being investigated by Robert Mueller for his ties to Russia.
It's time for Rep. Rohrabacher to retire.
Let's kick him to the curb in 2018.
To do this, we're going to make a series of 5 short form campaign ads that tell voters in the 48th district all the ways Rep. Rohrabacher is betraying them.
We've done this before in Virginia and in Nevada and we've won big.
But to get it done, we need your help.
We need $10,000 to pay for equipment, crew, editors, and gas for our van. Anything we raise over $10,000 will be used to run the videos as ads on Facebook.
Let's do this! Let's take our country back, one vote at a time.
