Welcome, y'all! My name is Albert and I'm exploring the opportunity to represent the 12th Congressional District of Texas, come 2020!
I was born and grew up in Southern California as a first generation American to immigrant parents. After graduating college and receiving my commission as an active-duty Army officer, I served our country for almost 10 years, all over the world, serving three
of those years in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Haiti.
I transitioned into corporate America as a candidate in General Electric's Junior Officer Leadership Program. And upon graduation, I moved to Fort Worth, TX, where I've finally been settling down and growing some roots!
Since I was a brand new Lieutenant, I wanted to serve in the U.S. Congress because, even then, I was sick of seeing the intransigence of corrupt career-politicians, their demonizing of the other party, and its ruinous affects on our American Republic.
Lobbyists and powerful corporations have taken control of Washington, leaving the rest of America without a voice in the democratic process. I want to run for Congress to shield Americans from such forces that would continue to tear our country apart, and to work with all lawmakers to mold a better America.
I believe in compromise and collaboration with all members of Congress. I believe in all Americans, and not just Americans of one party. And I believe only a new generation of lawmakers will move this country to a better future in an ever dynamic national environment.
