                                                                              Selected Key Issues;

1). Bring New 21st Century Companies With Career Jobs

2). Fix Our Transportation System And Get Faster Internet Now!

3). Protect Our Quality Of Life (We Need Safe Drinking Water)

*Attracting New Business With Career Jobs.  We Need To Augment Our Existing Tourist, Retail, And Agricultural Economy With 21st Century Industry.  Add New Entrepreneurial Businesses, Increase Healthcare Positions, More Treatment Facilities, And  Permanent Job Opportunities. How? -

*Find And Allocate Funding For New Business Tax Break Incentives, Study Private Sector Models.  Re-Visit The Lewes - Cape May Ferry Operation, A Working Model To Learn From For Creative Ideas.

*Raise The Restaurant Service Industry Workers Pay Up To Minimum Wage  Plus Tips Instead Of Living Mostly On Tips. This Will Motivate Top Caliber Service Industry Employees Looking For Career Advancement. We Need To Keep Our Talented Employees Working Here With A Path To Staying Here.

*Attract More Doctors To An Under-Served District 20; It Takes Too Long To Get Appointments, Then Office Wait Times Often Are Behind (Yes, The Existing Doctors Are Great, District 20 Just Needs More Of Them).  One Possible Future Is To Recognize New Doctor's Licenses (Streamline Re-Testing)  From Qualified States If They Move Into Delaware. Top Doctors Already Have Passed National Licensing Medical Exams.

*Investment In Communication Infrastructure.  Start-Up Legislation To Build A Fast Middle And Last Mile "Community Fiber Optics Public Option" Utility. This Is What Relocating Industries Are Now Looking For In Areas Of Expansion. We Need To Keep Our Young Talent Here With Fair Paying Jobs And Benefits.

*Investment In Transportation  & Communication Infrastructure.  Fix the Route 1 | Route 9 Road Gateway And District 20 Transportation Gridlock Now.  How?-

*If Elected, District 20 Will Then Have Jack As An Elected Democrat Advocate Going Forward With A Democratic Governor And Democratic Speaker Of The House in Sussex County To Get Resolution Faster Through DelDOT.

*Move The Proper Percentage Of Deserved Monies From Our Budget Downstate. Coordinate State Legislation With The County Council Master Plan, To Fund Reasonable Growth.

*Bring In The Fast Fiber Optics As A Public Utility To Pull The Future Business Bottlenecks Away From Congested Highways And Existing Agricultultural Locations.

*Color Code | Simplify The Traffic Flow Signage For District 20 Approach Roads.

*Enact Coordinated Growth Policies To Secure Our Air, Clean Water, Beaches, And Farmlands For Our Children And Grandchildren.

*No! On Overbrook!

*Protecting Our Quality Of Life (Selected Issues):

*State, County, And Local Governments Do Not Operate In Silos. Vertically Integrated Coordination, Is Needed To Stop Funding Waste, And Build On Ending "Turf fights" Over Who Is Responsible. It Starts With The Money And Allocations For Funding.

*The State Balanced Budget Needs Professional Legislative Oversight On A Monthly Timetable.  Allocations Protecting Many Of Our Delaware Values And Services Are Under Seige Due To Other Budgeted Line Items Not Living Within Their Promised Means.

*Lower Health Care Costs, How?-

*We Need Robust Funding For Opioid Rehabilitation And Treatment Centers To Get Our Citizens Back Into Productive Society.

*Protect Our Clean Water Tables, Without Costing Jobs.

*No!  On “Right To Work” How?- Stop Legislation That Will Kill Existing Fair Wages And Jobs.

*Bring Delaware's Education System Up To National Standards.

*Bolster Senior Services To Enable Our Elders To Remain Independent As Long As Possible. How?-

*State Monies For Targeted Senior Advertising With High Touch In Hand Media, Not More High Tech Messaging To Local Seniors.  Explain How Existing Sussex DART (https://dartfirststate.com/) Transit Actually Is Set Up To Work In Sussex For Their Use.

*Build In The DART (https://dartfirststate.com/) Gaps Around Where  Sussex Seniors Actually Live.

*Currently, Empty Buses Illuminate The Point That The Scheduling Needs A Review.*Fund Then Boost Health Care Transit Availability.

*Underwrite The Freedom To Enjoy Life Liberty And The Pursuit Of Happiness In Our Coastal Towns. How?  Zero Tolerance For Bullying.  Mutual Respect, And Manners Are Part Of Our Delaware DNA And Must Be Protected With Any Ongoing Legislative Changes.

*Support All Resident And Visitor's Greater Good.
