Hey, thanks for coming to my Crowdpac page!

Since the early days of my career, I have noticed something very wrong with everyday politics in Washington and in Atlanta. Despite longstanding Republican supermajorities in the Georgia Senate and House, our legislators have been unable to shrink the influence of Big Government. Politicians run on vague and nondescript platforms, and once elected, don't follow through on the promises they didn’t even really make. I have spent my life establishing myself as a technology expert and entrepreneur, while continuously becoming more frustrated with the paralysis under the Gold Dome. Given that our state government is currently beset by corruption and incompetence, I have resolved to enter the fray and bring the Georgian values of Liberty, Efficiency, and Perseverance to our State Capitol.

In the last State House election, our amazing district was promised a “new energy,” but instead we got a Big Government bureaucrat who serves only as a benchwarmer. In fact, our current state representative never attempted to be a beacon for the issues that Georgians care about, and her campaign never made any mention of policy positions or proposals. We want to run a thoughtful campaign that helps real people in #GA52 and throughout the state.

I have identified three key policy issues which are of primary concern to Georgians and which I will redress, using all means at my disposal, when I am your State Representative.

1. Establish a Statewide School Choice System - so that parents, not bureaucrats, control our children’s future.

The first issue is the most important: a statewide education savings account (ESA) system. Georgia spends more than 50% of its annual budget on education. Education spending is essential- but too much of this money is wasted by a Department of Education which has no incentive to exercise budgetary discipline. We need to disempower the bureaucrats, and restore power to the families of Georgia. Democrats and Bureaucrats like my opponent both believe that the Georgia Department of Education is absolutely necessary. I believe that every child in our state has a personal department of education which understands their needs far better: their parents. By overhauling our education system and empowering parents to decide how to spend the money allocated for their child, we will end generational poverty and cut waste by almost 100%.

2. Abolish the State Income Tax - so that you, not bureaucrats, control what happens with the money you earn.

I am an entrepreneur, and I believe that individuals deserve to keep the money that they earn. Some of the most successful and affordable states in our country do not have an income tax, including three states near us: Florida, Tennessee and Texas. We are not nearly as competitive as they are, and this needs to change. The elimination of the Georgia state income tax will strengthen our local economy, invite more large companies into the state, and remove the burden from small businesses, allowing them to thrive.

3. Modernize Georgia’s Transportation Infrastructure - Rework our highway system to emulate private sector efficiency rather than bureaucratic gridlock that slows down working Georgians.

Atlanta’s traffic congestion is among the worst in the world. Our region has enjoyed a great deal of growth and development, but the transportation system has not kept up. Most of the proposed solutions fail to address the core issue: we need to get cars on and off of the roads faster than we do now. I will replace HOV and toll lanes with higher speed express lanes which will contain drivers who exceed the usual speed limits of 55-65 mph and allow them to do so in a safe, structured setting in order to free up road space. This plan will help Georgians reach their destinations more efficiently and reduce the number of drivers on the road. It will also decrease the number of speeding tickets given out and shut down much of the toll collection bureaucracy.

I’m running in #GA52 because we are a great district and we deserve constant improvement, rather than stagnation. I believe that we have had enough of vague campaigns and broken promises. Together we will make Georgia an emblem of freedom, choice, and efficiency that will serve as a model for the rest of the United States. We will move Georgia forward and make it a better place to live, leaving bureaucracy and Big Government behind. Help me drain the swamp under our Gold Dome.
