Victor J. Rojas believes in serving his community and has an unyielding commitment to civic responsibility – from advocating for students, to serving on a state board, to empowering immigrant families.

A graduate of De Queen High School, Victor earned an associate’s degree in education from UA Cossatot and a bachelor’s degree in education from Southern Arkansas University. Most recently, Victor worked for the De Queen School District.

In 2014, Victor was appointed by Gov. Mike Beebe to the Arkansas Coalition for Juvenile Justice Board. As a member of the board, he worked with his colleagues to distribute federal funds to community-based programs aimed at preventing juvenile delinquency.

Victor also served on the board of directors of the Arkansas United Community Coalition, an immigrants’ rights nonprofit organization.

If given the honor to serve on the Sevier County Quorum Court, Victor’s priorities will include ensuring fiscal responsibility, maintaining public safety, and promoting transparency. He is confident in his ability to offer a fresh perspective, and pledges to be readily accessible to his constituents.

This campaign is about ensuring that everyone in Sevier County has a seat at the table and a voice in their county government. It is about making a difference that not only benefits current residents, but also generations to come.
