Voters in Oregon District Two are fed up with Greg Walden. He needs to go.  If you want to see new leadership, join us and DONATE to Oregonians for Better Government.

We are committed to running radio ads across District Two that tell the truth about Walden's record. Your donation will keep our radio ads on the airwaves from now until the election in November 2018.

As soon as we meet our goal, we will earn a $5,000 MATCH from a generous donor.

Walden led the charge to undermine our health care system. His bill would have caused 23 million Americans to lose their coverage. That’s 400,000 people right here in Oregon. Walden’s tax bill was just as bad. It gave a massive tax break to corporations and wealthy individuals and will be paid for by cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Walden has abandoned immigrants and DREAMERs, sold out net neutrality to his biggest donors (the telecommunications companies), and doesn't do any of the things he claims to do for veterans.

If you want to RETIRE GREG WALDEN, donate today!

Here’s what voters in Oregon are saying about Greg Walden:

“Tell the truth about Walden! He lies about the impact of policies he supports, avoids voters' tough questions, and fears a right wing primary challenge. He does the Republican party's and Trump's bidding, not the citizens' work. Unseat him, I say!”

“We deserve better representation from someone willing to stand up for our values, someone with the integrity to put people before party and corporate donors.”

“Greg Walden is ORD2's representative in name only. In truth he no longer represents us. He has become just another two-faced sell-out to big dollar donors and corporate lobbyists. Time to give him the boot.”

“His support of the TAX SCAM is unforgivable, his attacks on Medicare and Social Security to pay down a deficit he and his Republicans created when they gave large tax breaks for the wealthy 1 % and corporations.”

“I endorse this campaign because Greg Walden refuses to hold town hall meetings in most of his district (OrCD2) He is more interested in representing his many corporate sponsors when he should be representing all of this very large district. He's been in office so long now that he has become complacent in his position. It's past time for Greg Walden to retire”

“Greg Walden has not held an open town hall in Jackson County in over a year. His office staff won't release his schedule to his constituents. He is not interested in answering questions about his votes and actions in D.C. Mr. Walden is representing his corporate sponsors--not the citizens of our district.”

“He betrayed his constituents, provably lies in his outreach to donors (no way someone in Portland can "disrupt" his town halls 6 hours away when there's less than 4 hours notice in the first place - nope - that was US!), and went out of his way to go out of his district - ahem - to Portland! to fundraise with racists and extremists.”

“His vote on healthcare and net neutrality were unforgivable!”

“I back this campaign for two reasons. One, I believe laughter will get us through the worst of times and second, I know that Walden must go. #CleanHouse2018”

“Greg Walden transferred his loyalty away from his constituents when he became a corporate tool and had his lips sewn with wire to the buttocks of the ghouls in Congress like Lyan Ryan.”

“Walden was wrong to so proudly support Trump in revoking gun laws making it easier for people with mental illness' to get a gun and he was wrong to support Trumps tax cuts for the rich.”

“Greg Walden's strict adherence to the Republican policies we have seen this past year - policies which help the wealthy above concerns with most of the population - needs to end. Deceptive tactics like saying that a proposed GOP healthcare plan will not affect those currently on Medicaid - while sidestepping the question of whether Medicaid would be threatened to future qualified recipients is just one example of how his loyalty is to his party rather than to his constituents. As an Oregonian who cares about the whole state I urge you to do what you can to remove Walden from office.”

Putting Your Donations to Work!

We did it!

Thanks to all of you we met our goal of $5000 and have earned a match from another one of our generous donors!

We've recorded four new ads, which will be on social media and on the radio very soon. As we sprint toward the midterms, we want to keep the heat on Greg Walden. He sold us out and now we can vote him out!

We've set up a blog to amplify your voices in the political process. If you have anything you want to say to Walden, consider writing to him at DEAR GREG WALDEN. We'll make sure he hears you loud and clear!

Thank you for being part of the fight for a better future in Oregon.

In solidarity,

Oregonians for Better Government

Walden's silence is deafening

I don't know about you, but those of us at Oregonians for Better Government wake up every day horrified by some new atrocity out of the White House, and we wonder where is Greg Walden?

Does Greg Walden support caging children away from their parents? If not, why hasn't he supported Senator Jeff Merkley's efforts to get help for those kids?

Does Greg Walden support pardoning criminals like Dinesh D'Souza, Joe Arpaio, and the Bundys who took over our public lands at Malheur? If not, why hasn't he spoken out against Trump?

If Walden bothered to talk to constituents, maybe we could ask him, but he doesn't so we have to conclude that he is going to fall into lock step with Trump on every single thing.

We have got to get rid of Greg Walden! He's bad for Oregon and he's bad for America.

Thanks to you we have almost hit our goal on this campaign. All we need is another $825 in donations and will earn our $5000 match. Can you share our campaign with your networks and ask them to join you in supporting our efforts to retire Greg Walden?

Thanks for being part of the team!
