Service to others was instilled in me by my mother at an early age. Service has been my lifeblood since my teenage years. I have sought to create effective change in my community since the 1980’s. I have volunteered in local candidate elections with the hope of giving residents in Louisville a choice.
Working alongside my mother, Martha Shepard, she founded West Louisville’s first employment office, The West End Job Club Center. While following her every step, she instilled in me the importance of serving others. Because of Martha Shepard’s dedication to her community, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has benefited and will continue to do so for generations to come.
My family, supporters, and I now feel that the time has come for me to offer myself as a servant in the public arena. I am confident that I can bring some of those common-sense ideas straight from the people to City Hall and implement change.
For us to be successful in this campaign, your financial support and help is necessary and most importantly your VOTE!
Volunteering to canvas neighborhoods, making phone calls, and assisting with fundraisers, are greatly appreciated.
I am humbled by the notion to serve as your next District 15 Councilwoman. If elected, I will remain committed to be your voice of change, always keeping you my first priority.
