Our current political landscape is dysfunctional and broken.  To continue forward our country needs leadership, progressive mentalities, and the ability to work together as a team.  America is currently divided and needs someone to bring all political parties and citizens together, I am that person.

Our schools continue to fall deeper into disrepair, staff reductions, increased class size, along with many other challenges placing American youth at a disadvantage on the world stage.  As your congressman not only will I work on a Federal level, but also a local level to bring parties together.  We need to place teachers back as cornerstones of our country rather than celebrities.  Now is America's time to re-prioritize and focus on our most import asset we have… our children.

Affordable housing continues to stifle growth in District 53 unless we unite for a solution.  Without housing affordability we will not be able to draw or retain the workforce needed to continue growing.

We need to create additional jobs in District 53.  I will work with all community leaders, locally elected, and federally elected officials to map out solutions to bring business back to San Diego County and District 53.  The past years have seen business’s leave Southern California and relocate to friendlier business climates of Nevada, Arizona, and Texas.  As your Congressman I will work to bring these business’s back to our District and state.
