Having spent the majority of his life in public service - through state and county government positions and volunteer roles in his community and church - Christopher Turner will bring a keen perspective and understanding of Alabama's incredible gifts and solid ideas as to how to meet Alabama's challenges to the Alabama House of Representatives.
Christopher's roots run deep in the black prairie soil of Alabama. He was born and has spent most of his life in Montgomery. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School. After graduating from the University of Mississippi, Christopher returned home to Alabama and has served in the Lieutenant Governor's office and on the staff of the Montgomery County Probate Judge. Christopher has volunteered with the American Red Cross and is currently Chairman of the Montgomery Clean City Commission. He is an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Montgomery's Garden District.
"Too often we've defined our state's challenges as rich versus poor or young versus old or black versus white. When we recognize all of our neighbors as fellow stakeholders in our collective future, we can make strides in fixing the systemic problems that face our communities and state. I hope that you will join me in this campaign. Your support in any way is greatly appreciated ."
