If elected, I pledge to: Hear from all sides, research every issue, ask thorough questions, and vote for what's best.
I believe the students of Monongalia County are the greatest resource for our future and that they should have the best available in every area, including curriculum, instruction, transportation, and facilities.
Monongalia County's school system is a shining example to other systems across the state, and I want to serve on the next Board of Education to build upon that momentum of success. While there are some areas of the system that warrant evaluation and adjustment, by and large the current status of the system is sound and the students are flourishing.
Our county has many success stories. I've shared a few of them on this site. As with anything, there is still room for improvement. Every student in every section of this county should have the best opportunity to learn and succeed. As a member the Board of Education, my only special interests would be the success of our students and the strength of our system.

Dear Friends & Supporters,
Sadly, Election Night did not turn out the way we wanted. The unofficial vote totals have me in fourth place missing the mark by 973 votes. That’s not the outcome any of us were expecting or hoping for. But I am proud of the campaign we ran and the work that went into the effort. I have a deep love for Monongalia County and I respect the voters of this county and our democratic process very much. I just came up short this time.
I was honored to have so many people contribute to the effort. I want to express my deep and sincere gratitude to each and every one of you that supported me throughout this adventure. From campaign contributors, to Facebook friends, fans, and followers, to volunteers, to well-wishing neighbors and friends, this was truly a team effort. Nothing you did to help this campaign went unnoticed.
I would be remiss if I didn’t give a huge “Job Well Done” to my Campaign Treasurer, David Mitchell, who kept our reports and our account ledger “tight and right.” I couldn’t have chosen a better man for that job and he served this campaign more than admirably. Further, I want to thank all my “Kitchen Cabinet” advisors and confidants that bore with me through numerous calls, texts, and emails. While I came into this campaign with a certain depth of experience in running campaigns in Monongalia County, I learned even more from being the candidate on the ballot this time. The emotional roller coaster is hard to describe and even harder to endure.
Although I came up short in this campaign, this is not the end for me. My passion to see Monongalia County thrive and grow is undeterred and my desire to serve our community has not been squelched in the least.
P. S. If you happen to see a Moore For Board sign anywhere in the County, please stop and grab it for me. We’ve worked hard since election day to get them all taken up but there may be one or two that we’ve missed. Thanks!

We're 1/3 of the way to our $2000 fundraising goal. We have already made purchases of lawn signs, business cards, and door hangers. Your help is so very appreciated. Together, we can make a difference!
