Salvatore Castellana is running for the 35th House District which includes the northern areas of Cobb County in Kennesaw and Acworth. He is a native Georgian and has owned several small businesses, along with working in management with Pepsico Foods, Pilot Oil Company, and Honey Baked Ham. He is hoping to share his passion for leadership and improving the quality of life for people in our district. We are very fortunate to live in a state that has so much opportunity, but our political leaders have neglected issues that affect so many of us. From healthcare to our traffic congestion, and education, the Republican led house and senate have failed to act. The Atlanta area leads the nation in income inequality, and Georgia is 47th in the number of uninsured adults. In order to have change we must make a change. Our current representative in the 35th has held this seat since 2005. Many of our leaders have made a career in politics and are so complacent in their positions that they fail to act on solutions. They will keep adhering to the same old policies that have for so long kept us behind other states. Salvatore is proud to call himself a progressive because he believes in thinking outside the box to solve problems, and will work for the people of his district and not the lobbyists. He is asking for your help in flipping this seat by getting involved.
Thank you for endorsing this campaign!

We are in the process of ordering the materials needed to run an effective campaign. I will be taking part in a Democratic Forum on July 10, and will be making plans to canvass our area and spreading the message for our change. We need to legalize the cultivation of cannabis for medical use. Expand Medicaid to help more families. Ensure the safety of our people by enacting Red Flag Laws to remove guns from people who are threatening others. Expand the HOPE Scholarship to include a need based program. I cannot do this alone. I need your help to become the nest Representative of House District 35 in Georgia.
