I am running to restore power back to the people of my district and to the state of Texas. Washington has become a self serving entity and we are a distant 3rd behind politicians who serve self 1st and party 2nd. We are portrayed as victims or children to be cared for at best and greedy and heartless to be forced to do right at worse. We are neither and we give power and can take it back. I trust people to take care of themselves and help others and as we take back our right to self determination. We prove who we really are everyday as we willingly serve our communities.  My wife and I are both Army vets who met while serving in N. Africa and the Mid East. I am the only veteran in this race and the only candidate with an actual 38 year record of public not party service. I served as a court appointed child advocate, helped homeless and with food banks while working full time designing and supervising the construction of bridges, roads and buildings of all types. I quit the high paying engineering field to teach high school and been doing so for the past 18 years. My story is one of overcoming great obstacles from starting as a homeless teen on my own in high school. I earned all I have and am now a dedicated servant who can not do enough to give back to this great nation for the opportunities provided to me. I want for my children and yours to inherit a nation built on liberty and self determination, free of an oppressive government and the debt it incurred. Simply put I trust you and I hope to earn your trust.
