As a Green Party candidate, I will not take contributions from corporations, political PACs or any other special interests, in order to maintain my political integrity and independence. My campaign is being supported by individuals who are concerned about the fracturing of our democracy and see many critical issues being ignored as the two-party political strategy plays out in Washington, and monied interests direct policy and legislation.

All contributions will be used to pay for the basic logistics required for getting my message out to the citizens of Pennsylvania; travel expenses as I visit towns around the state; printing materials including flyers, tee shirts, signs, banners; and other logistical requirements. All such contributions are very much appreciated and will be put to good use!

I will work hard to introduce legislation that supports the four pillars of the Green Party - Grass Roots Democracy, Social Justice, Environmental Wisdom and Peace.

I will bring a sense of urgency to the United States Senate and propose actions to seriously address our changing climate, which threatens our well being now and far into the future. I will be a strong advocate for transitioning to a 100% clean, renewable energy economy as soon as possible, while re-purposing our overall economic model, to one designed to favor all of our people, not just the financial industries.

My professional experience includes nearly four decades in the energy efficiency and conservation fields, the last 22 years managing a low-income, energy affordability program. For the past two years I have also been active with local Environmental Advisory Councils and various citizen action groups focused on climate change activities.

I remain passionate about taking an active part in our system of self-governance and doing whatever I can to affect positive change in these critical areas. I have come to realize that it is my personal responsibility to do so, for my own daughters, and for everyone else's' children, who will be deeply affected by the decisions we make today, now and into the future.

Thank You!!!

I want to thank you all for donating to my campaign! And although I didn't win, I did get 30,192 votes throughout Pennsylvania! That's a large number of people who were willing to vote based on the issues rather than on their fears.

I am looking forward to continuing to build on this momentum and to work towards a Green Party that is stronger, more visible and ready to champion the progressive values of all Americans.

Thank you again!

Progress to date

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me in my campaign! Your donations are much appreciated!

I also wanted to let you know that we successfully submitted 8,100 signatures on July 31st (5,000 minimum were required) and as of August 8, no one has challenged them.

That means I have passed the first hurdle and will be on the ballot in November.

Thank you all very much! I will update you as the campaign progresses.

Neal
