I’m William E. Flippin, Jr. and I’m deeply disturbed by the political divide that is taking place in Washington, D.C. The impetus for such split stems primarily from the recently approved Tax Bill that allows the rich to continue to attempt to eliminate the fabric of society: working-class people.

My political journey commences in being the chief organizer for the Young Democrats of Georgia in planning the first inaugural of William Jefferson Clinton. This allowed me to be a state legislative page in the General Assembly for two years. I have always had an interest in politics, and instead of looking at the analysis of commentaries on CNN, this engagement is found in hosting Town Hall meetings at my church or being on political and religious panels.

For a better understanding of how I developed a passion for what is now known as the E3 Concept and for leading to the E3 Movement, go to William Flippin Ministries.

Visibility is essential in any campaign, and that's why I am having a conversation with the people that will build this campaign and possible future initiatives together. I will build organic coalitions of volunteers ready to take action on behalf of the campaign. Once I have secured a base and pledges, there will be a series of political Town Halls in cities and towns with and around the bases of Atlanta (where I reside) and future offices in Columbus and Savannah.

To get the target audience, I will introduce an app (already developed) that will collect in real-time the collective experiences of a given place, allowing us to locate and determine the greatest need for Town Hall meetings. As illustrated in Barack Obama's 2008 Presidential campaign, new media, including Facebook, is essential in decisive victories.

From the use of technology, which is my greatest strength and asset, to the building of coalitions for a single purpose or cause, my campaign will use grassroots advocacy.

Many politicians rely on the influence of church leaders, judicatories of large numbers, because they don't want to go on the field. That's my advantage: those coalitions have already been built in the target cities of Atlanta, Columbus, and Savannah to allow deliberate one-on-one conversations. As a pastor and activist, I am quite aware of the impact that unjustifiable bills have on churches and non-profit organizations, and I am contemplating a run for public office to deal, head-on, with those who want to get tax breaks for the rich and dispose of (like a dirty dish rag) working and middle-class families.

Our present US Senators that represent Georgia are out of touch with its constituents. Just last week, in the midst of children in Texas being separated from their families, David Perdue remained silent. He was caring more about loyalty to President Donald Trump than the millions of millennials that are waiting to vote but are feeling apathetic toward the political system in general and toward engaging fully in the grand experiment of Democracy. This must change, and it is time for me to step out collaboratively and facilitate such.

My message to Georgians:

Let’s re-energize organic political engagement. We can be a leader in building the base for millennials and for all hues in the community through Town Halls and participation on relevant issues.

Let’s reach our full potential! We can be a state that leads the nation in Medicaid reform and in uniting America in making bi-partisan, common sense laws that are representative of all people and not just loyalty to a President or Party.

Let’s commit to environmental justice! Georgia must take the lead in environmental measures of clean water, sustainability, and equity from the dismantling of initiatives from the Environmental Protection Agency. Savannah will be one of the largest ports in the world we must continue to protect our aquifers and our beaches. Georgians can champion truthful, practical climate policy.

My commitment to humanity will find answers, not create new categories of winners and losers. As a clergy person, activist and family man, I am committed to systemic truth and solutions by uniting Georgians and America. Together, we can advance healthcare, equality, women’s and LGBT rights, the environment, and criminal justice and tax reform. Donate today and let's get to work!
