I am Diana Reddy and I am running for Redwood City Council.
For over two decades, I have been committed to addressing social inequities in Redwood City. My priorities have been and will continue to be guided by the needs of the community. I have advocated around the production of affordable housing, protection of renters, health care, education, and immigration through Faith in Action Bay Area, the Housing Leadership Council, and my own faith values.
Redwood City residents are concerned about development, transportation, and housing. Although we are surrounded by the wealth of Silicon Valley, many are facing stagnant wages, mounting debt, long commutes, and housing insecurity. Mostly, residents believe their voices have not been heard. I am listening to Redwood City residents, and as a council member I will fight for environmental, housing, transportation, and economic justice.
This campaign belongs to all of us. It is a grassroots effort powered by individual supporters. We do not accept campaign contributions from corporations and developers. We are seeking the endorsement and financial support from people like you.
I will be introducing myself to the neighborhood and business associations, attending house parties, and knocking on doors to have personal conversations with voters. But more than anything, it is the support and enthusiasm of supporters like you that will make our campaign successful.

“Diana Reddy has a long, excellent track record of advocating for the rights and well-being of San Mateo County residents. The wealthy, well-funded landlord-realtor cabal's ugly smear campaign against Diana is shameful.”
