Party politics and crony capitalism have controlled Americans for far too long.

• Democrats won’t talk to Republicans.
• Republicans won’t talk to Democrats.
• And when they do, it’s not talking - it’s more like screaming across the aisle.

But...America was made for more.

YOU were made for more.

“United We Stand” was the cry of the Founding Fathers. And, for most of us (outside of politics), it still holds true.

• We cheer on our Olympic heroes...United.
• We grieve and mourn national tragedies...United.
• And we believe in truth, freedom, and The American Way...United.

Isn’t it time our politics were United too?

America is supposed to be a place of discussion not division...of conversation not contention...and of unity not underhanded schemes to get a vote.

My name is Ed Rush.

I am a former Marine F-18 Top Gun Fighter Pilot and a veteran of two combat trips to Iraq. Since leaving the Marines, I’ve launched and sold several businesses as a values-based, socially-connected entrepreneur.

I’ve seen the world and I’ve seen America from both the inside and the outside.

And I know we’re better than the partisanship and division that has gripped us for far too long.

• I am for a New America - one that honors the good we’ve done in the past...while pressing onto a better tomorrow.
• I am for kindness, love, compassion, and most importantly action.
• I am for a United States that believes in doing the right thing, balancing its checkbook, and keeping its word.
• I am for an America where we ALL root for each other with the same vigor that we root for Michael Phelps on his last Olympic gold.

Come on, America, you can do this.

For the reasons above (and so many more), I am considering running as a Candidate for President in 2020.
