Hubbs has been recruited by the Caledonia County Progressive Committee and endorsed by the Vermont Progressive Party to run for Caledonia County Justice of the Peace from the town of Burke.

As one of seven Justices from the town, he will be a responsible poll & election official,  serve with principle and dignity as a member of the Board of Civil Authority, be an unwavering advocate for democracy-enhancing electoral reform, and make progress on the effectiveness of county and municipal government in the NEK.

Final results.

Just a final update this year for the official 2018 election results.

Thank you to all who voted. Now, on to 2019 and 2020.

Early unofficial results show a third place ranking with roughly 15% of the vote, securing one of the top seven positions. The campaign was a success.

Hubbs spent a lot of time going around the community and engaging with voters in the days leading up to the election. It payed off. Now Justice-Elect Hubbs will continue to engage with and serve the community by upholding democracy and civil governance.

The necessary signatures from voters in the town have been collected during the August 14th primaries and submitted. After all the candidates to be on the ballot are confirmed in September, Hubbs will officially be in the General Election in November.
