I am asking for your vote to be elected as one of the nine Detroit Charter Revision Commissioners to be elected this November.
The City Charter is the most important legal document for the City of Detroit. It establishes the basic framework for the organization, powers, functions and essential procedures of city government and defines how the government will interact with the citizens it serves.
I am an attorney and have been practicing law for more than a decade. In these roles I’ve gained extensive experience reviewing contracts, bylaws, processes and other governance documents.
I am also passionate about engaging my neighbors in their community. I am a resident of Brush Park and am active in protecting and preserving the historic character of my neighborhood while it goes through unprecedented transformational changes.
I am running for Charter Revision Commissioner because I have the skills and experience to ensure that our Charter best reflects the needs of Detroit residents. I look forward to the opportunity to represent you!
