THANK YOU Detroit Voters for entrusting me with the honor of service as Judge!
I was first elected November 2000 to the 36th District Court Bench. For the past 18 years I've served with a passion for justice, fairness and integrity.
I have continued to maintain community involvement with both civic and community organizations including church related activities. Focusing on concerns for the safety of our citizens particularly our seniors. Not withstanding my commitment to our youth which began early in my career where I served on the Mayor's Task Force on Child Abuse, Fundraiser Coordinator for Junior Achievement and The Boys and Girls Club, to name few organizations of interest. I believe that the youth are our future whether it's advocating their rights and protection or mentoring and tutoring, there is no task to large when it come to our youth.
A Native Detroiter, a graduate of St. Martin dePorres High School, University of Detroit Mercy and Michigan State Law School (formally Detroit college of Law).
As Judge Ruth Ann Garrett I am asking the Voters of Detroit to continue their support and vote " Judge Ruth Ann Garrett " in the November 6, 2018 Election.
