I have participated in campaigns, caucuses, and conventions for over a decade. We have not been heard in one of the most progressive districts in the country. We send the platform up to leadership and they ignore it.  The ten term incumbent is not supporting single payer. Our incumbent, is not serious about campaign finance reform. Her big donors include defense contractors and the health insurance industry.

I always get involved, I think 20 years is enough time. Term limits should be imposed, if not by law by the choice of the voters in the district.

The speaker of the house was anointed without a choice for democrats. Betty choose to step aside instead of being the leader we needed her to be. She should have challenged Pelosi for the speaker of the house. Betty has been too quiet on corruption within the party and is complicit in the status quo. It's time for a new voice in Minnesota to champion solutions to our nation's challenges.

Giving Minnesota a choice and advocating for single payer, a green new deal will take some money. I have put some of my own money into this of course. But I will need about $20,000 going into the primary to really give this the attention we need. Contributions would be used to promote the message of single payer, ending corporate cash in elections, and taking on party corruption with inexpensive market focused strategies.
