When I was 18, I climbed Mount Everest. Not literally —I metaphorically climbed the highest mountain on Earth by starting my own business.
While I was hiking, I thought about quitting approximately 5,000 times. (And that’s a lowball estimate.) But despite the high winds, low altitude, mental and physical fatigue, and trail mix overdose, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll do something, it will happen.
So after hard thought and reflection, I’ve decided to run for office.
Now, I plan to put that perseverance to work everyday as your representative. While managing this new excursion I won’t have to climb any mountains…but I will have to move them.
As leaders of the communities we live in, we must be willing to work with the people we represent. It is incumbent upon us to STOP mass incarceration, REINVEST in our emerging generations, and CREATE a fiscally sustainable budget that works for every person in this state. That is why fostering partnerships between local organizations, institutions of government and citizens is my top priority.
As we're in the early stages of planning, I ask that you consider pledging $20 or any amount you can give. This will be a campaign for the people by the people.
If you’re interested in grabbing coffee and talking about how we can work together to move mountains (or to hear how I almost fell off the mountain at 27K feet), please message me or send an email my way.
