Help Victoria and Roman end GOP stranglehold over Wallington, NJ

Hi! My name is Victoria Field and I am running for Wallington Council. I am a newcomer to Wallington politics looking to make a difference. Having moved into this community 5 years ago, I have fallen in love with what this community is and what it can be. After getting myself initially involved in local politics, I believe the best difference I can make is as a sounding board. New Ideas bring new breakthroughs. I'd like to serve as a Councilperson who can hear ideas and offer valuable insights as a professional. I really believe that this town lacks checks and balances and I know this is an area where I can contribute and excel. I, Roman Kruk, am a former councilman of 6 years. A life long resident. A community volunteer (Jr. football, Little League Baseball, Cub Scouts, Lions Club Member, Bergen County volunteer of the year recipient, 2015 Contingent Marshall for Wallington, etc). I am running to stop the personal vendettas that this all Republican-lead council has set out against good everyday people in the community. The previous Democratic administration wasn't perfect, but this Republican Mayor and several council members are attacking anyone that doesn't agree or support them. This Republican council is systematically retaliating against current employees and volunteers that they feel do not support them. There are no checks and balances left. There is no one left to question and bring to light the wrong doings they are committing daily. At council meetings, if you question what they are doing, the will dismiss your question and not answer it. I want the residents voices heard again. This is why I am running for council, to provide that voice to hold them accountable.
