Hello! My name is Ashley Waggoner. I am a community-college English, speech, communications, and political science professor who is running for City Council in her hometown of Olney, Illinois. The issues I am most passionate about are: public education, civil rights, campaign finance reform, and getting more women and people of color to run for public office. I am running in the 2021 municipal election in order to make a positive difference for all the people who reside in my community.
