I'm a proud progressive running for Minneapolis City Council. I grew up here, played youth sports in our city's parks, educated in our city's schools, and have made Ward 10 and South Uptown my home. I have watched with amazement Minneapolis grow and flourish over the years into a top destination for people to live, work, and raise a family.

But we need to do better. Minneapolis is not immune to the negative impacts of ever-increasing income inequality, systemic racism, and climate change. City Hall has an important part to play in mitigating these impacts because it is the level of our government that is closest and most accountable to the people.

As your City Council Member from Ward 10 I will:

  • Work to improve police accountability and enhance public safety.
  • Promote more investment in, and preservation of, affordable housing.
  • Support efforts to increase our environmental sustainability and decrease our city's carbon footprint.

I have been a firefighter for 20 years and have spent the last 15 years advocating on behalf of workers for fair wages, affordable healthcare, ridding our work environment of harmful chemicals, and protecting our front-line healthcare workers in case they are sickened by COVID-19. I have gone toe-to-toe with the big chemical lobby, the Chamber of Commerce, and others and have come out on top. With your help I will do the same for Ward 10 and all of Minneapolis.

Making lasting positive change through the political process is expensive. Please donate to my campaign today so that we work to move Minneapolis forward to a city that works for all. Individuals and PACs can donate up to $250 until the end of 2020.
