Born and raised in Southern Illinois, I’m the son of two working-class parents: my father, a small business owner, and my mother, a former high school teacher.
Growing up in a small town during 2 recessions (now three due to COVID-19), I’ve seen the struggles that hard working people like my parents have experienced first-hand; working long hours with multiple jobs only to barely scrap by. All while the public officials they elected to help them do nothing but help themselves.
I’m exploring a run for Congress in Illinois District 13, because the current residents of Capitol Hill are out-of-touch with the needs of their constituents and are only focused about enriching themselves and their corporate donors.
No one in America should live in poverty while the Top 3 wealthiest people hoard half the nation’s wealth. No one in America should go bankrupt from medical debt while Big Pharma rakes in billions of dollars in profits. No one in America should be living on the streets while there are more vacant homes than homeless people.
Help elect me to join more progressive leaders in D.C. who serve all Americans, not just Corporate America.
