Women’s Day on the Hill 2025
Did you know? Women’s representation in Tennessee state government remains among the lowest in the nation, with women holding only 17.4% of legislative seats—23 out of 132 positions. Research shows that when more women hold elected office, policy decisions are more reflective of the needs of families, women, and marginalized communities. However, harmful legislation over the past five years has disproportionately impacted these communities, making our mission to engage and elect women more urgent than ever.
Our Solution? Engage and Elect Women.
To address this disparity, the National Women's Political Caucus of Tennessee (NWPCTN) is organizing the third annual We Rise: Women's Day on the Hill 2025 on March 19, 2025, in Nashville. Building on the successes of previous years—where over 75 women from 15 counties participated in 2023 and 100 women from 20 counties in 2024—we aim to bring together 120 women representing at least 25 counties across Tennessee in 2025.
