Why you should support this campaign

About this campaign:

Running as an independent, Kate McGraw didn't have built in resources like many first time candidates. Through Crowdpac, Kate created several campaigns around issues she cared about most. These pages allowed Kate to explain her ideas and gain support from artists and animal welfare activists and run a great campaign.

Original content:

A lifelong Independent, Kate McGraw comes from a large working class family of Pennsylvania dairy farmers. Born and raised in Monroe Township, Kate is a 1996 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, and is an acclaimed regional artist with degrees from Penn State and Brooklyn College, and has completed coursework through the University of Vermont Agricultural Extension.

Kate knows that a well-funded public education is a keystone for success and she will fight to bring renewed prosperity to our public school system in York and Cumberland counties. In addition to public education support, Kate’s platform focuses on farmland preservation, increased health care access for populations including the elderly and those suffering from opioid addiction, and improvements in infrastructure in order to bring better paying jobs to our district.

As an advocate who can speak to the unique nature of our rural and developing region, Kate McGraw will be your trusted Representative for the varied issues facing our communities, schools and families in York and Cumberland counties of the 92nd Legislative District in the General Assembly.

“As an independant, Kate should be able to "cross the aisle" to actually move ideas forward. She is from a family that understands the importance of food production, the plight of our farmers, and the value of preserving quality soils and farmlands. Food is essential !!”
