Sara Innamorato is an accomplished marketer for social good who combines elements of digital advocacy, community engagement, event planning, fundraising, and public relations to help nonprofits and government agencies achieve their goals and tackle their challenges.

In 2016, Sara founded Innamo Co., an agency for social good marketing. Since its inception, she has worked with Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority’s Green Infrastructure Department to rethink community engagement; The Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon, Inc. to link grassroots activities to a social media storytelling campaign; and the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council to plan a 500-person supper on Grant Street and invited policymakers, nonprofit leaders, and residents from more than thirty neighborhoods to collaborate on advancing food policies and mitigating food insecurity in the region.  

Sara built the marketing, communications, and public relations program for GTECH Strategies, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit focused on community development and environmental justice.  There she launched and managed GTECH’s first-ever neighborhood crowdfunding initiative and raised more than $6000 for nine different community-based projects. She has been featured in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,  NextPittsburgh, and appeared on Pittsburgh’s NPR station WESA and CBS station KDKA.

Sara is dedicated to serving her local community. She has served as secretary on the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse board, planning committee member for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s Feed More festival, Construction Junction’s Steel City Big Pour, and Pittsburgh PARK(ing) Day. She is currently involved in 100+ Women who Care and regularly attends her community block watch meetings and assists in the management of the Community Gardens in her Lawrenceville neighborhood.

Recently, Sara graduated from Coro Pittsburgh's Center for Civic Leadership's Women in Leadership Program, a premier program for women leaders designed to address civic challenges in the region

She helped co-found the She Runs, a project of the Women and Girls Foundation, designed to get more women in southwestern PA engaged in their local communities.

Sara has a BS in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh.
