those who are scared of talking to a "live person this is a "comment line" not live person" but if enough call a statement is made PLEASE share with your friends who will be effected and those that might not thank you.
what is the first line on most applications for a new job?
"we are an equal opportunity employer"
As most people with disabilities know this is a very often big fat lie. So how do we change it?
Tax reform is next on legislative agenda. So for business tax code what if there was a tax intensive to HIRE those with disabilities?
but here is where i need your help.
how do we make it relatively easy, but at the same time prevent it from be a loophole? or a least as little of a loophole as possible?
I have many personal friends that was forced to apply for disability, despite having a college or even masters or doctorate degree not because they couldn't work because they couldn't get HIRED.
Those who are disabled tend to be very loyal employee's, some require accommodation but if a business is willing to hire many state vocational rehab agencies will gladly pay for any assistive tech required, and contrary to popular belief some people may not need any accommodations at all
this would relieve the backlog of those applying for disability, keeping the program for those who absolutely need it. more infuse new workers, into the system etc.
I'm sure we would have to lobby for the addition on the democratic side but there is a number of conservative arguments to be made for this as well.
so I open this for debate. if you have ideas please post in the comments section thanks.
As those who have disabilities healthcare takes on extra importance even more so than for the average population.
while Obamacare needs serious reforms (which by the way the democrats have been trying to do for 7 years but have been blocked at every turn by republicans.
Obamacare is in bedded into the healthcare it can't just be removed now. does it need major reforms? everybody agree's but throwing the baby out with the bathwater just never made since.
the cancer alliance created this hotline and it worked really well and is easy

I hope the new approach will largely be bi-partisan small fixes don't in low key bills, that make small differences, that over time make a big difference
Again this is not our mission but I felt it was important enough to post one post on it. there is another community that crowdpac called "hands off our healthcare" who's so mission is watch healthcare debate's
As always please don't forget to join and take action. however big or small. thank you
Hi I'm Alex. a disabled person who is tired of just accepting the status quo.
The stated goal above would be to craft, and fight for local state, and federal legislation to cut down on disability fraud and abuse,
We were granted these rights in 1991 and while a huge step forward and with a few minor changes in 2011, those that don't need those rights have found ways to abuse the system we need to keep our rights in the for front it is said that as much as 1 and 4 people have some type of disability, be it physical, psychological, invisible (health related) acquired (from an accident, being born premature or old age etc), or genetic, it doesn’t matter we are still the largest the biggest and all to often the silent’s minority in the U.S.A and world. By protecting the rights that were granted to use in last updated in 2011. like other minority populations its time to stand up, and keep our rights protect them and our stories known.
Weather Republican, independent or democratic, (or anything else) no matter what religion or other views you share, This group is open to all who care about disabilities rights. I also know a ton of people in this class are on limited budgets, I would hope that a $5 donation could be achievable for most people, but trust me also know that is not by living on very tight budgets so every since dollar counts.
I do hope you'l join the fight as time goes on this site will allow use to link similar minded or things that by proxy effect did the disabled, we will also be able to link those efforts together, furthermore, if there is somebody running that has proven to be disabled friendly.
I hoe you'll join the fight, we speak louder in a group than in one voice alone,
Our mission is simple to protect the rights the Americans with disability Act (ADA) last updated in 2011 has allowed us to have, stand up to protect those rights we require. then to cut down a disability fraud and/or abuse big or small no matter where it may be.
