Meet The Artists

Artists David Gleeson and Mary Mihelic purchased Donald Trump’s original campaign bus in the Fall of 2015. They transformed the bus into an anti-trump artwork and took it to Trump rallies and primaries around the nation. David Gleeson is a Philadelphia-based artist whose work focuses on issues of economics, politics and finance. He studied art at the New School in New York and at Fleischer in Philadelphia and studied economics and politics at the London School of Economics and Princeton University. Mary Mihelic is a Brooklyn-based artist whose art focuses on politics, global feminism, education for women, and religious freedom. She received her M.F.A. from Parsons the New School for Design. Their Trump art has been featured in publications and broadcasts including: The New York Times, Vice, Univision, Fuji TV, The Economist, The Guardian, The Atlantic, The Sydney Morning Herald, Deutschland Radio, Hyperallergic, Artnet, the Art Newspaper, Artforum, Good, USA Today, and The Rachel Maddow Show...
