On July 2, 2017 I left my Dream Job working in DC for U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill in order to live the dream. I came home to St. Louis because I won't win until my entire community is winning. After some soul-searching and many conversations with mentors, friends, and neighbors I decided to run for office. On February 1st I announced that I would be running for the honor of representing the 85th District in the Missouri House of Representatives.

My first national endorsement is from Run for Something. Run for Something is a groundbreaking organization that recruits and supports strong voices in the next generation of progressive leadership.

I am running for office because I believe that my community has the potential to be an economic powerhouse. My community is at a fork in the road socially, economically, and politically; we should take the route that includes engaging and empowering young people. I am looking forward to ushering my community into the new generation of leadership. I believe that my campaign for state representative is important because it shows where the Democratic Party in north St. Louis County is currently and the direction in which it should move.

The message is that "We Do Not Have Time to Wait" and young people from all across the country are delivering the message from the community to the establishment.

We will be running a grassroots campaign in order to get our message out to the community. Please support our campaign by contributing financially to our campaign so that we can spread our message to voters.
