Community Advocate, Veteran and Business Owner Changing the Tide in Texas

I am a former business owner, Army veteran and avid community volunteer. I have been  actively advocating for public education, victims of domestic violence, animal rights and other issues for over a decade. As a private citizen, I have been testifying on legislation in Austin for 4 session. After selling a business 5 years ago, I have focused full time on non-profit work within the community. 

So far, this campaign has increased Democratic primary voter turnout by 562%, the largest increase of any race in the state of Texas. This district has been identified as one of the most flippable, and critical districts for the 2018 election cycle. Please help raise the funding needed to take on this challenge and make a long term positive impact for the state of Texas.

Texas State House- District 28 is a seat held by a 6 term Republican incumbent. For the first time in over 20 years, this seat is facing a very viable Democratic challenger. My opponent is on the short list for the Speaker of the Texas House, meaning he will determine the legislative agenda for Texas.  We cannot allow his views against women's healthcare rights, the LGBT community or voting rights dictate the future of Texas.  This campaign has a real opportunity to change the course of Texas legislative policy.
