My name is Cassandra Armstrong. I am a 19 year old Public school employee and queer rights advocate running to represent the people of the beautiful 43rd Legislative District. Our district is diverse and is home to everything from one of the top research institutions in the state to beautiful scenery and a diverse population with diverse needs. I'm running so that our fellow humans sleeping on the Ave have as equal of a voice as the homeowners of Montlake.
Our district is home to the University of Washington and I am committed to ensuring that the students working hard towards their degree have freedom from crushing student debt and a clear pathway to rewarding careers and bright futures.
I'm someone who knows what it's like to worry about where my next meal is coming from and whether or not I'll be able to make rent for the next month, and if you choose to send me to Olympia, I will work to ensure that nobody has to endure that emotional torture.
