I'm Kemi Akindude, and I'm running for Congress as a write-in candidate in NY-11 because Change Can't Wait.
I am committed to:
- Combating systemic and racial inequality
- Advocating for working families
- Strengthening the education system
- Protecting the interests and lives of essential workers
- Making healthcare more accessible and affordable
If you’re someone who feels that the issues closest to your heart aren't yet being championed, please support my campaign for Congress.
From working with mobile legal clinics in impoverished neighborhoods to going to juvenile detention centers in order to teach incarcerated youth their constitutional rights, I have devoted my life to advocacy and service to those in need. Right now, there is a need that none of us can ignore.
Kemi Akindude is a graduate of Syracuse University's PreLaw program. She went on to earn a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis Law, and earned a Master of Science in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017.
