My name is Cynthia Stanley-Cash, and I am a Candidate for City Council District 5 and I am asking for your vote to represent you and our district 5. My vision as your city council representative is one of unity, inclusion, transparency, and improving our community, as well as our city.

My husband Fred Cash, and I are blessed to be retired. I retired from UTC after 37-years of service. Fred is one of the founding members of The Impressions singing group traveling (working) for many years. While Fred traveled, I was a full-time working mother and very involved school PTA volunteer. My husband Fred and I moved into the North Brainerd community to raise our family over twenty-five years ago.

I later joined our North Brainerd Neighborhood Association(NMBA) volunteering in our community, attending city, county and school board meetings, and serving on boards to better myself as a neighborhood association leader. I currently serve as the President of the North Brainerd Neighborhood Association, which is my honor.

During my years serving as president along with the NBNA members, we were able to bring about numerous community improvement projects such as a new bridge that was installed near the levee, sidewalks, streetscape, Walmart Neighborhood Grocery and so much more.
