Gina Starling Gunn has been a resident and homeowner in Brentwood, TN for over 30 years and has lived in Nashville area since 1976. Originally from Huntington, WV, Gina relocated to the Nashville area when she married her husband, Michael C. Gunn, MD, also a Huntington, WV native. Gina has three adult daughters who grew up in Brentwood.

Building the community around her comes naturally to Gina. She spent nearly 13 years of her career as an elementary school teacher for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, and she also encouraged others to explore the world and seek new perspectives as a Travel Agent. For the last 30 years, Gina has been serving as the Practice Manager for her husband's medical practice at St. Thomas Hospital. 

Gina has always been an active member of her community. She served on the BrentwoodTN50 Committee; she has been an active member of the Links, Inc., Girl Friends, Inc., The Carrousels, Inc. and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. where she held leadership roles at the local, Regional, and National levels;  she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; and she is also part of the movement to recognize the Black Women of Williamson County.

Gina has been a member of St Vincent De Paul Church in Nashville for over 30 years, where she serves on the Parish Council. 

In her free time Gina enjoys reading and traveling, demonstrating her life long commitment to learning and growing not only for her community, but for herself too.
