Erika Bachner’s tireless efforts to build community, connection and collaboration make her the right choice for River Forest Village Trustee. She has worked in the not-for-profit sector and before that 13 years in investment banking, and experience in real estate M&A, and she has lived in River Forest with her husband and daughter for nearly 14 years.
Erika has championed women’s rights, immigration rights, healthcare rights and the rights of the disabled.
She has organized coalitions of locals to do registration drives – and fought for gender inclusion in River Forest schools.
She’s been on the executive board of the Willard School PTO, and now that her daughter is at Roosevelt, she co-chair’s the IMPACT/Parent Enrichment committee.
Erika is committed to being a fresh voice on the Village Board that can help bring understanding and intersectionality to all decisions big and small for our community.
