My GOALS & VALUES commitments;
 My back ground and location give me an eye to eye level with my many varied constituents and a unique perspective that matters to the people, giving a new found voice to those in need, including those that have gone unheard.

My INTERESTS;
Globally; Sustainable energy use, ecosystem collapse education, organic farmers support, human and animal vaccine injury education and laws, Health issues related to (GMO) Genetically Modified Organism foods and outsourcing processed food approved by the FDA, protection of the U.S. Constitution and right to rally. Local; mental health and rehabilitation volunteer programs, accountability of elder abuse in health care facilities, animal abuse laws and education, creating citizen awareness rallies, meetings and family events on key issues.

Many in Lewiston are in need of encouragement and self-empowerment through oppression. Folks want to have a new choice and find faith in someone who knows how difficult it can be during hardship living in this community. Those folks are putting their faith in me and I expect to keep their faith by inviting neighbors and friends to public meetings to air their grievances or offer their support to continue building person to person relationships with each other and municipalities.

*Campaign funds will be used; for creating fun family friendly public events, food or supplies, publishing tools and costs, travel and set up, as well as any staff willing to work the events.*

IF I am so chosen by my voters to take this position, I will do my very best to seek out the greater good for all involved.

Sincerely,

Kim Pfusch

CMP CORRIDOR, all voices not yet heard

MP CORRIDOR, all voices not yet heard

As a former legislative candidate I am concerned for whether or not voters are being heard out, who might be in opposition to the corridor. There are also quite a bit of proponents. There is not enough readily available information for folks to make decisions on where they stand. So, I urge you to join me or support the efforts to get all of the information to the citizens. I will leave links below for your further inquiry and education.

I understand that 2/3 of the corridor has already been established. I saw construction going on all summer long. Massive clear cutting and installing lines through Lewiston and Auburn. Lewiston is a focus of attention right now because our sub-station is where it will run central from Canada. I have been in discussion for a while now with locals about this. The mayor is for it and has nothing but positive to say about it.

CITY COUNCIL, PROPONENT;

I was at my city council meeting in June where they laid out their plans and watched the city administrators vote in favor of it. Some of their main points are:

increased income for locals, $5 million tax break for Lewiston alone.

There is discussion about tearing Maine apart.

OPPOSING ARGUMENT; from what I am read, 2/3s of the line has already been carved out. So they will use "existing" corridor property. This seems to have to citizen's interest. However, my concern is that citizens agree saying that there is SOME deception in the advertising because they are not GOING TO cut Maine's pristine forests apart. They already HAVE! I watched it in my own town! There is still more property that CMP is looking to acquire. Much of it was done using "imminent domain." Many residents are not OK with this at all. Many are excited about this.

ANOTHER MISCONCEPTION; Advertising regarding "a break for broad band users" only rural parts of Maine have been promised broad band extensions. This is a bit deceiving because if you're not listening closely you might think that ALL Maine broad band consumers will benefit when that is certainly NOT the case.

I propose to you, that we look at the plan map and find a representative who is willing to contact a community to discuss or hold a forum about this issue with more data to share with voters as well as give voters a chance to say what they are in favor of and what their concerns are. I am personally going to a USM-LA meeting of the minds to listen to both sides of this issue from residents and possibly offering some insight myself. Because there is a lot of unheard opposition to the corridor and quite a bit of proponents. I urge you to join me or support the efforts to get all of the information to the citizens.
