Bolingbrook United Candidate Jose Quintero for Village Trustee

Jose Quintero is a devoted father of two boys, Frank (14) and Kenneth (13), students of VVSD. Jose is married to his beloved wife and college sweetheart Paola. The family have been active members of Saint Dominic's Church in Bolingbrook since 2004. It is the rich diversity of our community and the representation of so many cultures that attracted the Quintero family to Bolingbrook.

Jose and his family immigrated to the United States from Durango, Mexico when he was five years old. Jose's life journey is a prime example of the potential of the American Dream. He studied political science at the College of DuPage and later received his education in hospitality at FAU University. Through hard work and dedication, he has grown into his role as Vice President of Operations and Business Development for the Windson Hospitality Group. Jose is proud to have become a respected business leader in Bolingbrook and the Hospitality Industry. Jose is honored to be an active member of our local Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce.

As an active parent in our community and business member, Jose has observed many of the problems plaguing our local government. Recognizing that the decisions of our Mayor and Trustees are not always reflective of the desires of our residents, Jose has decided to step up to give a voice back to our residents on the Village Board. He will focus on fixing the devious garbage tax, bring an open-minded mentality to attracting good paying jobs, and demand much needed transparency and accountability in Village operations. Most importantly, he is committed to using his voice to ensure that the needs of our residents, not donors or political allies, are always the primary focus of the Village Board's decisions.

As Village Trustee, Jose will rely on his business experience to bring a strong sense of fiscal responsibility, a holistic approach to problem solving, and a forward-thinking mentality ensuring that our long-term outlook is preserved and never sacrificed for short term political gains.
